Venue: A classroom with a projector

Materials: You will need (per group) 1 sheet of writing paper, 1 copy of the Case Scenario sheet. 1 copy of the Copying Not Allowed sheet.

Student Volunteer: This person must run the video and audio in the lesson.

Watch the video on plagiarism.



Discuss: Get into groups of 4-5. Come up with a brief statement about what plagiarism is.



Case Scenarios: In the same groups, read through and respond to the various scenarios.



(You should have paper copies of these)

Plenary: Read through the Cyber Smart guidelines, reflect back on the lesson and ensure that your answers to the case studies are as accurate as possible.

Listen to the brief explanation of plagiarism. Compare with student statements.
